Artist Paul Wallace

Meet Paul. Paul’s a good guy. He’s actually a tremendous person and artist.

Paul and I grew up in the same town, went to the same high school, and painted murals together for many years.

With all the different types of people in the world, Paul is the exact person I needed to meet at a specific moment. Art has been one of the great gifts of my life, and I wouldn’t have spent my life surrounded by the arts if I hadn’t met Paul.

I’ve long said Paul is the person with the most raw talent that I’ve ever known. Paul can do anything: drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media, printmaking, realism, abstraction, color field. Anything, and usually better than anyone, and right out of any gate.

So there’s that.

I basically learned to paint from watching Paul. But Paul is also kind, caring, inquisitive, and intentional. His nature is pure and good, and it’s been my great fortune to know him over thirty years now.
